A big day on the golf course for Todd County Central senior Noah Rager Saturday. Rager was at the Bowling Green Country Club for the Danny Spillman Bowling Green Invitational and finished tied for third place in the event.
Rager finished his round with a 2-over-par 74, which tied him with Logan County’s Davis Switzer for third place.
Parker Brandon, of Christian Academy of Louisville, took medalist honors for the day with a 3-under-par 69. Mason Etscorn, of St. Xavier, was second with a one-over-par 73.
Rager shot a 4-over-par 40 on the front nine, but lit it up on the backside, shooting a 2-under-par 34.
