Union County sent two golfers to the KHSAA State First Round at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood on Wednesday.
Lilly Moman led the Union County duo with an 11-over-par 83, while Raegan Pinkston finished two shots behind her with an 85.
Moman tied for 35th and finished three shots shy of earning a spot in next week’s KHSAA State Championship at Bowling Green Country Club.
She made three birdies and played the back nine in 40 before shooting a 43 on the front.
Pinkston finished 13-over at 85.
Starting on the back nine, Pinkston opened with a 41. She made a birdie on the par-4 18th hole before finishing with a 44 over her final nine.
The trip to Bardstown followed both golfers advancing individually from the Region 2 tournament at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Cumberland County’s Kenzie Willen earned medalist honors with a 2-under-par 70.
