Mariota Comeback on Schedule

On December 24th, 2016, Tennessee Titans starting Quarterback Marcus Mariota fractured his fibula during a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was not only an injury that ended their playoff hopes but had some fans concerned for the future of the young star.

However, it was a good site to see him on the field for the first day of organized team activities. Mariota said “I feel good.” He’s been involved in walk-throughs and individual drills along with the 7-on-7 periods.

Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey said the Titans will stay course with Mariota’s recovery.

This is likely a good idea, as Mariota’s passer rating last season was third in franchise history. The Titans made many key roster additions this spring and they’ll need their rising star at fuels strength if they plan to take down the AFC South.
