A late Hopkinsville rally came up short as the Lady Tigers fell to Apollo 4-3 Saturday in Owensboro. Hoptown trailed 3-0 at halftime, and a late surge fell short against the E-gals. Avery O’Hara had two goals and assisted on a third goal by Keeli Miles.
Hopkinsville (1-1) travels to Trigg County Tuesday. The Hoptown JV team won 5-0 as Ana Hernandez had four goals, and Makayla Marshall had one.
