It was a tough weekend with plenty of action for the Christian County Lady Colonels volleyball team. The Lady Colonels headed up to Lexington for the Bluegrass Invitational Volleyball Tournament, where they went 1-5.
On Friday, the Lady Colonels lost to Pikeville 20-25, 23-25, and to McCracken County 6-25 and 10-25.
The Lady Colonels returned to action Saturday with a 25-18, 25-19 win over Fleming County. Christian County lost on Saturday to Graves County 17-25 and 21-25; to Hopkinsville 24-26, 25-18, and 10-15; and to Floyd Central 25-19, 13-25, and 11-15.
Christian County returns to action Monday evening at home against Bowling Green.
