Heritage Christian Academy Middle School bagged a pair of top 20 finishes at the Madisonville Invitational Cross Country Meet Saturday. Eli McClelland finished 15th in the boys’ race with a time of 9:18 over the 2500-meter course. Matthew Gentile was 32nd, followed by Alex Quisenberry (55th), Jonathon Dechman (76th), Michael Gray (86th), John Samuel Thornton (102nd), and Luke Houston (119th).
As a team, Heritage Christian finished ninth.
For the ladies, sixth grader Ava Gentile finished 17th with a time of 10:47 over the 2500-meter course, while fourth grader Laina Butler finished 34th.
