Hopkinsville senior Ethan Noel was named the state Offensive Player of the Year by the Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association, and recognized as the state assist leader after posting an incredible 47 in 2017. Noel was also named to the West All State 1st Team, along with fellow 2nd Region standout Armando Zamarippa from Henderson County.
Hopkinsville junior Ryan Roussel, 7th in the state with 26 assists, was named West All State 2nd Team, with Henderson’s Michael Caron joining him.
Named to the Honorable Mention Team were Hopkinsville senior Caleb Joiner, 4th in the state in goals with 45, and Henderson junior Max Wawrin.
