Trigg County sophomore Lexi Ricks has battled an injury over the past month of the cross country season that has limited her effectiveness, especially on hilly courses. Ricks finished 104th at Saturday’s Class 2A State Meet in Lexington, running the 3.1-mile course in 22:36, which was a minute slower than her run last year. However, Ricks made up several spots in the last mile to improve her finish. She took us through her Saturday run at the Kentucky Horse Park.
