Hopkinsville Looking to Make Noise at FNB Holiday Bash

Coming off a 2-1 performance in the Owensboro Invitational Tournament last week, it’s back to work Thursday for the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers. Hopkinsville will head off to South Warren High School for the FNB Holiday Bash.

In the pool play event, the Lady Tigers have been placed in a pool with Campbell County, Jenkins, and Warren Central. Hopkinsville will begin play Thursday afternoon at 2:00 taking on the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers. Jenkins comes into the tourney with a record of 5-6. They head into Bowling Green coming off back-to-back wins over Sheldon Clark and Frankfort.

The Lady Tigers will play their second game Thursday at 7:00pm when they take on the Lady Dragons of Warren Central. Warren Central is struggling coming into the event. The Lady Dragons are 2-7 on the season, having lost their last six gamess.

Pool play for Hopkinsville will wrap up Friday, when they take on the Campbell County Camels. Campbell County comes into the tournament at 11-1, with their only loss coming last week to Mercer County in the Queen of the Commonwealth tournament at Bullitt East.

Hopkinsville enters the week at 9-3, with their losses coming to Murray, Owensboro Catholic, and Henderson County.
