Lady Colonels Move Up to No. 7 in Softball Coaches’ Poll

Christian County moved up two spots to No. 7 in this week’s Kentucky Softball Coaches Poll.  Scott County remains number one while McCracken County jumped up to No. 2, followed by Male, East Carter, and Madisonville in the top five.

Madisonville received a first-place vote as did Woodford County, the No. 9 team in the poll who lost to Christian County Saturday.

Boyle County, who beat Trigg County 9-5 Saturday, is ranked No. 17. Marshall County is ranked No. 19, and Webster County is No. 25. Union County (29th) and Caldwell County (32nd) also received votes by the state’s softball coaches.
