The Tennessee Titans now know when they will travel to see the Queen, so to say. The NFL announced Thursday morning that the Titans will face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 21 in London.
Earlier in the offseason, the NFL announced the Titans would face the Chargers at Wembley Stadium. The game will be played at 8:30am, Nashville time, and will be broadcast on CBS.
It will be the first regular season game for the Titans at an overseas stadium. When they were known as the Houston Oilers, the team played a preseason game in Tokyo, at the Tokyo Dome, in 1992, and at Stadium Azteca in Mexico City, in 1994.
The Titans were initially scheduled to play the Chargers in Los Angeles during the 2018 season, so Tennessee will not be giving up one of its eight home games this season at Nissan Stadium.
