Lady Falcons Drop Doubleheader at Christian Fellowship

The Fort Campbell softball team was overwhelmed over two games against Christian Fellowship on Monday, losing 18-0 and 15-0 at Mike Miller Park.  Christian Fellowship has won nine of ten to move to 15-7 on the year, while the Lady Falcons drop to 1-26.

Lizette Ceja took the loss on the mound for Fort Campbell, working 2.1 innings while giving up 15 runs, 13 earned, on twelve hits with a strikeout and three walks.  Sara Silva and Zoe Loveall had the Lady Falcons only hits.

Maddie Ortt earned the win, pitching 3.0 innings, yielding only two hits with four strikeouts.  Edie Little was 2-2 with 3 RBI for the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Falcons only managed two hits in the second game as well, with Ceja and Cadence Suding both hitting safely.  Ceja took the loss again, going 2.1 innings while allowing 15 runs, 13 earned on twelve hits with a strikeout and three walks.

Ortt got her second win of the night, going the distance while once again limiting Fort Campbell to two hits, with two strikeouts.  Ortt was also 2-2 at the plate with 3 RBI.

The Lady Falcons are schedule to play another doubleheader on Tuesday, going on the road to face Breckinridge County.
