Another solid day for UHA’s Drew McGowan on the summer baseball circuit. The Kentucky Prospects Donald 17U team used a nine run 6th inning to rally for a 13-7 win over the West Tennessee Pirates in a game played at Austin Peay State University.
West Tennesse lead virtually the entire game, and entered the top of the 6th inning holding a 7-4 lead.
McGowan, batting leadoff for the Prospects, went 2-4 in the game, with a triple, a run scored, and an RBI.
Christian County’s Lane Diuguid and Trigg County’s Riley Stallons both saw limited action in reserve roles in the win.
