Former Livingston Central baseball standout Jay Vincent was named to the Great West League All-Star Game, and won the league’s home run derby held before the game.
Vincent, a junior at Pikeville University, hit 15 home runs to claim the title in the home run derby. He plays for the San Francisco Seals in the Great West League, a summer collegiate wood bat league. Vincent, a first baseman, was named to the all-star team after hitting .305 with four homers and 18 RBIs at the All-Star Break.
The home run derby and All-Star Game was held at Kiger Stadium in Klamuth Falls, Oregon.
