The very 1st edition of the 2018 YSE 2nd Region Volleyball Super 7 has two very familiar teams at the top of the list, with some potentially interesting challengers preparing to make their attempts to climb the ladder.

– Henderson County (0-1) – The Lady Colonels dropped their season opener to a good Apollo team. Up next is a August 16th battle with Bosse.

– Caldwell County (1-0) – The Lady Tigers were impressive in a straight set win over Marshall County. Tuesday night finds them hosting Christian County.

– Madisonville (1-0) – The Lady Maroons opened the season with a win over Muhlenberg County. Tuesday night they will take on the Lady Panthers from Daviess County.

– UHA (2-0) – This could be a team that no one looks forward to playing. They opened 2018 with straight set wins over Trigg County and Fort Campbell. Up next is a Tuesday night game with Hopkins Central.

– Hopkinsville (0-0) – The defending 8th District champions will open play August 20th.

– Christian County (0-1) – The third 8th District team in the Super 7 dropped a tough 5-set match to Franklin-Simpson. Will find out more about this team Tuesday on the road at Caldwell County.

– Webster County (1-1) – The Lady Trojans knocked off Todd Central and then lost to Ohio County. They host Caldwell County on Thursday, which should tell us more about this team.
