While it was a tough weekend for his team, it was another big weekend for a former Caldwell County Tigers. #10 Lindsey Wilson fell to #5 Bethel 56-30 on Saturday afternoon at Blue Raider Stadium in Mid-South Conference Bluegrass division action.
While the Blue Raiders dropped the matchup, former Caldwell County Tiger Jaylen Boyd had another huge afternoon for the team. Boyd recorded his second career 100-yard performance, rushing for 119 yards. He was also was the Blue Raiders leading receiver with 51 yards.
For the season, the junior has 73 rushes for 579 yards and six touchdowns. Boyd has caught ten passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
