Hopkinsville freshman Allison Wood turned in a school-record run of 20:14.71 at the Region 1 AAA meet at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro on Saturday, good enough for 6th place and a spot at next weekend’s state meet in Lexington. Afterward, Wood discussed her performance and detailed what she felt were favorable weather conditions on Saturday.
