Several area boys cross country athletes have been recognized for their efforts in the just completed high school season. The All Area 1 teams were announced Thursday morning.
Among those honored was University Heights’ Tomas Duncan, who was named the All Area 1 Class A “Runner of the Year.” Additionall, Duncan was named to the All Area 1 Boys 1st Team.
Also being recognized overall, and by class, was Hopkinsville’s Chase Atkins. Atkins was named to the All Area 1 Boys 1st Team and to the All Area 1 Boys Class AAA 1st Team.

Austin Cavanaugh – Trigg County – All Area 1 Class AA 2nd Team
Gabe Gamez – Fort Campbel – All Area 1 Class AA 2nd Team
Walter Kunnmann – UHA – All Area 1 Class A 1st Team
Tyler Weir – Dawson Springs – All Area 1 Class A 2nd Team
Caleb Garrett – Dawson Springs – All Area 1 Class A 2nd Team
