Crittenden County quarterback Hunter Boone has been named the Class 1A, District 1 player of the year by the Kentucky Football Coaches Association.
The senior quarterback threw for 2,230 yards and 31 touchdowns in helping the Rockets to an 11-1 record and second straight trip to the region championship game.
Fulton County’s James Bridges was named the district’s coach of the year.
