It was a pretty good weekend of hoops action for Lyon County’s Travis Perry. Perry, along with his teammates on the “We All Can Go” varsity/17u basketball team were in Murfreesboro for the Prime Time Showcase.
The team won the championship in its division, while Perry, a 7th grader who started for the Lyon County varsity this season, was named tourney MVP. Perry averaged over 20 points per game for the Lyons during the 2018-2019 season.
The Showcase is considered one of the Southeast’s most prestigious events. It brings out some of the best players from the Midwest, the Southeast, and the Southwest.
