Caldwell County pulled off a small upset in the first round of the 2nd Region baseball tournament on Monday, knocking off 6th District champion Union County 4-1.
The Tigers, now 17-15, also secured a winning record with the victory.
Caldwell will play in Tuesday’s 5:30 p.m. semifinals at Sid Stone Stadium at Union County.
