Hopkinsville seventh grader Cate Blane finished second Tuesday at the Kentucky Junior PGA Championship Tuesday at Harmony Landing Golf Course in Goshen.
Blane played two rounds on the par-36 back nine. She was the first round leader with a 39 on her first nine holes. She shot a 44 in the second round to finish at 11-over, one shot behind the winner Abigail Crane of Versailles in the 12-under division.
The Junior PGA Championship is an invitation only event. Blane finished the summer with 320 points, which was good for fourth place in the series.
