Trigg County Downs Fulton County in Final Scrimmage

Jakobe Bridges caught a pair of touchdown passes, and Jacob Kent returned an interception for a touchdown as Trigg County scored three times in their final preseason scrimmage at Fulton County Friday.  Fulton County scored once.

The Pilots scored first in the scrimmage, which saw each team run 30 offensive plays.  Caleb Kimble took a screen pass 70 yards for the first score of the game.

Cam Jordan found Bridges for a 43-yard touchdown on the Wildcats’ next drive.  Later, Kent picked off a Fulton County pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown.  Jordan and Bridges hooked up again, this time for 54 yards and a score.

Trigg County saw two other drives end inside the Fulton County five-yard line.

The Wildcats open their season Friday at Muhlenberg County.
