Was it a shot, a cross, or something in between? It doesn’t matter, they all count, and Aria De Silva’s free kick goal with seven minutes remaining was a big one. After two goals by Caterina Martineau put Fort Campbell in control on Monday night, the Webster County Lady Trojans battled back to tie things up at 2-2, before De Silva’s heroics made sure Senior Night was a happy one at Fryar Stadium.
After the 3-2 victory over the Lady Trojans, De Silva spoke about her goal, the team’s performance, and said the Lady Falcons are ready for the postseason.
