Trigg County’s Austin Cavanaugh led a strong team performance at the Region 1 AA cross country meet on Saturday, taking 2nd place with a 17:37.81 on a sloppy course at Marshall County High Schoo, with the boys’ team also finishing second.
Afterward, Cavanaugh talked about his run and said sprint work paid off for the team.
