Needing a win and a couple of favorable results elsewhere, the Hopkinsville Tigers used a 32-yard field goal by senior Mason Marschand to knock off Paducah Tilghman 17-15 Friday night at the Stadium of Champions.
The result, coupled with losses by Madisonville-North Hopkins and Logan County gave the Tigers the District 1 Class 4A title, setting up a home meeting with Calloway County in the first round of the playoffs.
