Lyon County freshman Cathryn Brown was named to the All-Region team after a season that saw her qualify for the state tournament for the first time.
Brown tied for eighth place at the Region One Golf Tourney at the Paxton Park Golf Course, shooting an 11-over 82.
She followed that up with a 12th place finish at her first state tournament at the Bowling Green Country Club. Her two-day total was +13.
