Hopkinsville cross country runner Chase Atkins was named to the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association All-State Team.
The Tiger junior finished third at the Region 1 cross county meet and brought home his first career top 10 finish at the state meet over the weekend by finishing seventh.
Other Region 1 boys’ runners named to the All-State Team were Madisonville’s Jackson Watts, Daviess County’s Alex Adams, Apollo’s Thomas Ashby, McCracken County’s Wes Grogan, Muhlenberg County’s Jonah Mitchell, Daviess County’s Brady Terry.
