The Fort Campbell Falcons used a strong defensive effort Friday night to pick up their second win in a row to start off the new season. The Falcons limited Clarksville Christian to single digit points in three of the four quarters, as Fort Campbell cruised to a 48-35 win.

While the Falcon offense struggled coming out of the gate, the defense was smothering. Fort Campbell held Clarksville Christian to just two free throws in the opening quarter on the way to taking a 7-2 lead.

The Falcon offense found its stride in the second quarter, while the defense continued to cause problems. Cameron Pratt scored seven points in the quarter as the Falcons extended the lead to 22-10 at the half.

When the second half got underway it was more of the same. Pratt scored seven more in the third quarter, and the Falcon defense limited Clarksville Christian to just five points, as Fort Campbell pushed the lead on out to 36-15.

Clarksville Christian finally got some offense going in the 4th quarter, but by that time it was too late for any serious comeback, as Fort Campbell moved to 2-0 on the season.

Another big night for Cameron Pratt, who led Fort Campbell in scoring with 18 points. Jeremiah Holley had 8 points. Brock Elsberry added six points.

Malik Williams paced the attack for Clarksville Christian with ten points, all of them coming in the 4th quarter.
