A strong start by Adair County was enough to carry them to a 62-8 win over Fort Campbell in the final game of the Russellville Food Bank Classic Sunday.
The Lady Indians jumped out to a 28-2 lead after one quarter and led 43-3 at halftime. Adair County was able to take advantage of 27 offensive rebounds to score 33 second chance points.
Asia Cabili led Fort Campbell with five points, including a 3-pointer. Jadie Smith scored 21 points for Adair County.
Fort Campbell returns to action Jan. 3 in district action against Hopkinsville.
