It turns out the basketball is not the only sport being affected by concerns over COVID-19. According to a statement issued Thursday morning, the Southeastern Conference announced the suspension of regular season competition for teams in all sports on SEC campuses, as well SEC championship events, until March 30.
The announcement came shortly after the SEC decided to cancel the remainder of the SEC mens’ basketball tournament in Nashville.
