The Bowling Green Purples are looking for a new head boys basketball coach. According to multiple reports, Derrick Clubb announced his resignation as head coach at Bowling Green Tuesday morning.
In a news release, Clubb cited spending more time with his family, especially younger children, as being the primary factor in his decision. The release goes on to say that Clubb intends to continue his teaching career at Bowling Green High School.
During his three years as head coach of the Purples, Clubb went 75-25 and reached the 4th Region championship game each year. Each of those title game appearances resulted in a loss to crosstown rival Warren Central.
