
A pretty good day on the golf course Tuesday for Hopkinsville’s James Folz. Capped off by a long eagle putt on the 18th hole, Folz finished his day on the Bluegrass Golf Tour at the Bowling Green Country Club with a three over par 75, placing him in a tie for 4th place with University Heights’ Jiles Wyatt.
Folz got off to a bit of a slow start on the day, shooting +5 over the first four holes of the event. He finished the front nine at four over par 40.
Folz then found his stride over the final nine holes, shooting a one under par 35 to close out the day.
Owen Stamper, of Scottsville won the event with a four under par 68 on the day. Stamper birdied his final four holes.
