The report goes on to note that the additional 12 days would take place in the 14 day period before the usual pre-season begins in August.

Under the plan, teams would be allowed up to 20 hours per week of what the NCAA calls countable athletically related activities during those extra two weeks, which then lead to the normal 29 days of preseason practice. schedule. In addition to normally allowed activities during that 14 day period, the walk throughs, which could be no longer than one hour per day, would count as part of the weekly limit of 20 hours of activity. Pads and helmets would not be allowed during the walk through sessions.
