A trio of holiday events highlight the 2020-2021 boys basketball schedule for the Hopkinsville Tigers. Hoptown is among the handful of schools across the area to have submitted their basketball schedule for the season to the KHSAA.
The Tigers are set to play in the KME Christmas Classic at Trigg County on December 18 & 19. Hoptown will then turn around and play in the City of Hopkinsville Holiday Classic, December 21-22-23. After Christmas, the Tigers will travel to Louisville Eastern to take part in the City of Middletown Holiday Classic, December 28-29-30.
Hopkinsville will also play Marion, Illinois, on January 9, in the Toyota of Hopkinsville Classic.
In addition to their run through the 8th District, the marquee home games for the Tigers will include matchups against two time defending 2nd Region champion Madisonville, Greenwood, defending 4th Region champion Warren Central, and 2nd Region runner-up Webster County.
Highlight road games for Hopkinsville will include trips to South Warren, Daviess County, and Muhlenberg County.
The Tigers will have a very interesting season opener, as they travel to Lyon County to tip things off on December 1.
