A former coach at Todd County Central and former athletic director at Russellville High School has been selected to oversee the athletic department at Bowling Green High School. Officials at Bowling Green High announced Wednesday afternoon that Calvin Head had been named the school’s new AD.
Head previously served three years as Assistant Athletic Director at Bowling Green High School, and three years as Athletic Director at Russellville High School. Head was named the 2017 4th Region Athletic Director of the Year.
Head is also entering his fourth season as the Bowling Green High School Girls Basketball Coach. Head spent three years as the Russellville Girls Head Coach, and four years as the Todd County Central Boys Head Coach. He also has seven years experience as a head softball coach, two at Russellville, and five at Todd County Central.
