The Ohio Valley League is expanding south of the Kentucky border for the 2021 baseball season. According to information from the website for the Full Count Rhythm, the team will officially become a part of the OVL next summer. The team is being coordinated by Full County Ministries, and will be based in Hendersonville. The Rhythm will play their home games at Drakes Creek Park. As of this point, the team is still waiting to announce its head coach and begin assembling its roster for the 2021 season.

According to a statement on the team’s website, “as a ministry of Full Count Ministries, our goals at FC Rhythm fall directly in line with the vision and mission of Full Count Ministries, which ultimately points towards an eternal reward. We have an interest to engage our players and the community of Hendersonville with the game of baseball and the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

The GM for the Rhythm is Josh Carman. Carman is a lifelong resident of Middle Tennessee and has been involved with baseball for 35 years, both playing and coaching. Josh currently serves as the Director of Full Count Baseball as well as the head baseball coach at Beech High School in Hendersonville.

Officials with the Ohio Valley League say they expect to have the new league alignment released sometime in the next three weeks.
