Led by Caleb Garrett, the Dawson Springs boys’ cross country team earned 5th place on Saturday at the Trigg County Mike Wright Cross Country Classic.
Garrett was 11th with a time of 8:50.20, missing a top-10 finish by less than two seconds. Logan McKnight finished just inside the top-25 with a time of 9:09.94, followed in 27th by Tyler Hales with a 9:12.83. Lucas Osborne was only one spot back with a 9:13.14.
Ethan Osborne ran a 9:32.37, Yosiyah McCune crossed in 9:54.88, Michael Faughn ran a 10:04.47, Alex Mitchell had a 10:55.57, and Tristan Morgan finished with a time of 15:24.43.
