As of this time, the high school basketball season in Kentucky appears to be almost entirely on schedule for the 2020-2021 season. The KHSAA Board of Control made some minor adjustments to the schedule for the season, but nothing to significantly impact what would be the normal process.

During the Board of Control meeting Wednesday, board members voted to delay the start of practice from October 15 until October 26.

Otherwise, the start of the season was left alone for the time being. The 2020-2021 season is slated to start November 23. The Board of Control also took no action to reduce the number of allowable games for teams, or to change the postseason schedule.

All of which could be subject to revision, depending on trends with COVID-19 case numbers across the state over the next several weeks.
