Webster County’s Grant Puckett could not duplicate a strong first day at the Kentucky Coaches Association All-State Golf Tournament and finished in a tie for 29th place Sunday.
Puckett shot a 2-over 74 Saturday on the University Club of Kentucky Big Blue Course. His round included one birdie as he shot even par on the back nine.
He began Sunday on the Wildcat course at 3-over but a triple and double bogey on the back nine saw him come in at 41 for a round of 79. He finished the two days at 10-over par.
Rylan Wotherspoon of Cooper High won the tourney at 3-under par. The event covers two days and features the top golfers in the state based on All-State points.
