A top-20 finish by Grant Shrader led the Fort Campbell cross country team to a fifth-place finish Saturday at the Fenton Dawson Invitational hosted by Trigg County.
Shrader finished 14th with a time of 18:44, which is a new personal best for him over 3.1 miles.
Landen Rhodd came in 26th with a time of 19:40, and Aiden Fix was 35th in 20:32. Amari Waddy was next for the Falcons in 38th followed by Brock Sharp in 47th place, Travis Schmidt in 61st, and Scott Bricker in 68th place.
As a team, Fort Campbell totaled 126 points and finished in fifth place out of eight teams. Trigg County won with 41 points.
