Christian County senior Tenley Gilbert has committed to continue her athletic and academic career at Frontier College in Illinois.
Gilbert hit .330 for the Lady Colonel softball team as a sophomore. She smacked four home runs and drove in 25 runs in 2019. She was also 13-for-13 in stolen base attempts.
Gilbert has been a regular on the travel softball circuit since her early days, playing for the Lady Sluggers in recent years.
Frontier Community College, located in Fairfield, Illinois, competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Among her new teammates at Frontier will be former Caldwell County standout Emmarae Staples.
