Jackson Hill has been named a Bluegrass Tour All-Star, a recognition program developed by the Bluegrass Golf Foundation.

Hill, a junior at Madisonville, posted wins at the Christian County Invitational and the Madisonville Invitational and placed fourth at the Kentucky All-State Championships.  He followed a fourth-place finish at the Region 2 Tournament with a 29th place finish at the KHSAA State Tournament.

Results from events are used to determine Bluegrass Golf All-Stars and Honorable Mentions. A total of 112 boys and girls are recognized as Bluegrass Golf All-Stars with an additional 67 players recognized as Honorable Mentions.

The ranking system combines points earned in the best five (5) high school regular-season events, Regional Tournament, and State Tournament. The points system focuses on complete transparency with at least three All-Stars and two Honorable Mentions from each high school golf region.

Each of the All-Stars will receive a membership with the Bluegrass Golf Tour and an invitation to compete in the Cullan Brown Invitational which helps support the Cullan Brown Memorial West Kentucky Junior Golf Development Fund.
