Sophomore Daisjaun Mercer is one of six players making the transition from the football field to the basketball court for the Hopkinsville Tigers in 2021. After averaging just under 5 points per game last season, Mercer has impressed Coach Larry Miller with his improvement since his freshman campaign.
Ahead of a recent practice, Mercer talked about how returning four starters has impacted preseason practices and emphasizes the Tigers’ need to “play fast.”
