Dalton Barr celebrated his Senior Night with a pair of 1st-place finishes on Thursday when the Christian County swim team faced off with Hopkinsville and Muhlenberg County at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.
Bahr took the top spot in both the 50-yard freestyle (:25.02) and the 100 breaststroke (1:09.45). Also for the Colonels, Fernando Montes was 3rd (1:11.12) in the 100 freestyle and finished 4th (:31.95) in the 50 freestyle, with Shaw Howell taking 5th (:32.39) in the 50 freestyle and 3rd (1:14.95) in the first heat of the 100 freestyle.
For the girls, Sophie Fowler was 2nd (1:03.05) in the second heat of the 100 freestyle, while Reese Dexter was 1st (1:13.01) and Dakota Ming was 3rd (1:40.21) in the first heat. Fowler was also 2nd (:28.51) in the second heat of 50 freestyle, followed by Dexter in 3rd and Ming in 4th of the first heat.
