Ft. Campbell Boys Open Track Season at Johnson Memorial Classic

Fort Campbell hosted the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic on Saturday to open its track & field season, with the Falcon boys finishing 7th overall.

Jeremiah Holley’s leap of 19-03.50 earned him 2nd place in the Long Jump and he was also 6th in the 400M.  Holley, Cole MacMurray, Amari Waddy, and Jacob Gamez ran 8th in the 4x400M Relay, with Holley, Waddy, Aiden Fix, and Nathan Kovacevic finishing 6th in the 4x800M.

Niklas Sujanani ran 10th in the 100M and 11th in the 200M.  Kovacevic was 22nd in the 100M and Nickolas Guffrey was 23rd.  Gamez was 17th in the 200M, Caden Hughes finished 13th in the 400M, and Adam Wroblewski was 26th in the 400M.

Fix and Kovacevic were 16th and 18th in the 800M, Aaron Box was 28th in the 1600M and 23rd in the 3200M, and Grant Shader was 13th in the 3200.

Darrian Hutson and John Montalvo were 6th and 7th in the 110M Hurdles, and Hutson was 6th, Hughes 7th, and Casey Box 10th in the 300M Hurdles.

Waddy was 5th in the High Jump with a 5-04.00, Cole MacMurray was 5th in the Pole Vault with an 8-06.00, and Chance Bryant and Hunter Talley were 8th and 9th.

Montalvo and Waddy were 6th and 7th in the Triple Jump, Mateo Cerritos Gatto finished 13th in the Long Jump and Owen MacMurray was 20th.

Jarrett Baker was 6th in the Shot Put, followed by Jaxson Mullin in 12th, and Darrion Hutson in 18th.  Tano Unpingco finished 7th in the Discus, Mullin was 11th, and Casey Box was 16th.
