Lady Colonels Place Fourth at Hopkinsville Invitational

The Christian County girls’ track and field team finished fourth out of ten teams Saturday at the Hopkinsville Invitational at the Stadium of Champions.

Autumn Bell had a pair of first place and second place finishes, winning the 200-meter dash and the triple jump.

Cierra Ward finished second to Bell in the triple jump and was fifth in the long jump.

As a team, Christian County finished fourth with 71 points. UHA took first place with 120 points with Hopkinsville second with 99.5.

TOP LADY COLONEL SCORERS

Autumn Bell – 1st in the 200-meter dash [27.40]; 1st in the triple jump [33-01]; 2nd in the 100-meter dash [13.61]; 2nd in the 400-meter run [1:03.01]

Cierra Ward – 2nd in the triple jump [29-11.50]; 5th in the long jump [13-11.50]

Shaely Thibodeaux – 5th in the 200-yard meter dash [2.62]; 7th in the long jump [12-10.50]; 8th in the 100-meter dash [14.45]

Alyssa Adler – 9th in the 400-meter dash [1:18.91]

Janiyah Powell – 10th in the shot put [21-06.25]; 11th in the discus throw [51-00.50]

 

The 1600-meter relay team of Alyssa Adler, Taylor Dunn, Jakiyah Oatts, and Symacean Brown came in third place in 5:03.08.

The 800-meter relay team of Symacean Brown, Jazymn Rodriguez, Lazia Gill, and Nezaria Kellum finished fourth with a time of 2:06.32.

The 400-meter relay team of Julia Munoz, Nezaria Kellum, Shaely Thibodeaux, and Jazymn Rodriguez finished fifth in 58.54.
