Jaquellus Martin became the fifth Trigg County High athlete to win the state title in the 200 meters. However, no one in school history has ever run it quicker. That can be attributed to Martin’s work ethic that saw him working out in the spring of 2020 when most everything else was shut down due to COVID-19 and cost him his junior season on the track.
