Madisonville-North Hopkins has four golfers shoot in the 70, and that carried them to a second-place finish Friday at the Christian County Colonel Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course.
Jackson Hill, who has won the event two times, led the Maroons with a 3-over 75 to finish in sixth place. J.T. Witherspoon shot a 76, and Ben Dickerson followed with a 78. Paul Harris shot a 79, and Andrew Davis carded an 86.
Jakob Wellman of Owensboro Catholic shot a 4-under 72 to take medalist honors.
Madisonville’s team score of 308 points was three behind the winner Daviess County. South Warren was third with 312 points.
