Fort Campbell picked up its second win over Trigg County on the volleyball court this year, claiming a 25-22, 25-14, 25-13 win on post Thursday.
Marlie Fanning had 10 kills and 16 digs for the Lady Falcons. Abby Roby added four kills and nine digs, and Anika Weisbrich chipped in with four kills and three aces.
Down by 11 points in the first set, Trigg County rallied back to get to within 19-18 before losing serve and ultimately the set.
“The effort and intensity of the first two sets were not acceptable,” said Lady Wildcat Coach Stephen Erdmann after the Lady Wildcats fell to 4-19.
Fort Campbell improves to 2-10 and will host Webster County Monday. Trigg County will entertain Union County on Tuesday.
